The Marty Report: Iliescu and Basescu, CIA accomplices
There is now enough evidence to sustain that in 2003-2005, Europe has had detention facilities operated by the CIA, especially in Romania and Poland.
This is the conclusion of the report regarding the CIA prisons, presented by the Swiss speaker Dick Marty to the British daily “The Guardian”.
The question arising is: who are those who signed the secret agreements with the USA? In Romania, the report holds as accountants the last two presidents, Ion Iliescu and Traian Basecu, and the security advisors close to them.
And so, the report also considers as participants to the secret CIA activity, Ioan Talpes, ex presidential counselor, Ioan Mircea Pascu, ex Ministry of Defense and Sergiu Tudor Medar, ex General Director of the Defense Informational Office.
Dick Marty’s report stated that the prisoners considered “extremely sensitive”, were imprisoned by the CIA in Poland, while the “less important suspects” transferred in Romania.
Marty does not exclude the possibility that other European states might have hosted secret prisons for the CIA, underlining that the enquiry was prevented by the USA, NATO and other countries in Europe who refused to cooperate.

The apartments being built, have already been sold
In all major cities the real estate market develops every day. This is also the case of Pitesti.
Only a couple of hundreds of meters from the centre you can see a small quarter rising, Luxor, made out of three blocks which will sum over 300 apartments. The investment belongs to one of the most powerful constructions companies in Arges, Argecom.
Although the building is not finished, the apartments are almost sold. Hardly have we begun building that the apartments are already reserved. Because we are only at the beginning, it’s premature to talk about prices.
One kilometer from Pitesti, at Stefanesti, another player on the market of constructions, ConPit, is building a residential ensemble of over 5 million Euros. We are talking about 70 villas with a medium built surface of 130 square meters

Tariceanu to Basescu: sit in your bench!
Tariceanu sent yesterday on open letter to Basescu explaining the refusal to lead the PNL delegation to the Cotroceni debates.
“I am telling you again, bitterly, that the way in which you promote your political ambitions as president of Romania does not bring anything good to the Romanians. It’s just an episode from a paltry intrigue, meant to satisfy your thirst for power.[…] I should remind you again about the Constitution, Romania’s interests, but, seeing that it’s useless, I will tell you exactly what I tell to my boy when he is not behaving: Behave! If you cannot make yourself useful then sit in your bench!”
After the identification data of the e-mail sent file, the author of the letter signed by Tariceanu is in fact “Dan” from the company First One Communication, said the forumists from Hotnews.ro.

Motion with idiots
Calin Popescu Tariceanu had a nervous breakdown yesterday in the Parliament, saying that the democrats are “slow” and that Cezar Preda is “an idiot”.
The premier’s irritation came from the fact that the PD parliamentary refused to vote with or against the delaying of reading the motion that they had initiated, after almost two hours that had been lost with procedural things.
Tariceanu came down from the tribune and came towards the democrats and told them not to sit around for nothing and that they should vote. Cezar Preda intervened and the premier got upset and told him to shut up, because he is an idiot anyway.
I did not hear, said Preda, my colleagues told me that after these rough discussions the prime minister had used the word “idiot”. Then I answered: “Sir, if He could say such a thing, then he and his crew are the same”.
Tariceanu has another version: we did not have an argument. I think Mr. Preda did not understand, like his colleagues in PD that they should be actively present in the court, not only assist, because, as seen, the session can be prolonged a lot because of procedural matters”.

A Day Without Basescu
TVR 1, Antena 1 and Pro TV did not broadcast any news regarding President Traian Basescu.
Following the racial discrimination accusations against Romania’s President, Traian Basescu and the recommendation of the Romanian Press Club or CRP, tv stations TVR 1(National Television Channel 1), Pro TV, Antena 1 and Antena 3 did not broadcast any new events related to Basescu.
„Sinteza zilei” (Antena 3), a TV show that usually talks about the President chose to discuss new Government versions.
Press institutions reacted differently towards CRP’s recommendation. Realitatea TV and TVR 1 broadcasted the festivity on the President’s returning to the Presidency after 30 days of being suspended from office by the Parliament. Antena 3 avoided even to mention the subject .

Analysis- New Government Versions, Without Early Elections
Maintaining the current Government or changing its structure is a matter of great importance for parties who reject early elections.
EVZ analyzed possible Government . The parliament is dominated by a majority formed of the parties that do not support early elections : PSD, PNL, UDMR and PC.
This majority dictates both maintaining or dismissing the current Government, as well as the possible structure of a new Government.
There are five different possible Government structures that would avoid early elections and two, considering early elections.
1.PNL-UDMR, without a transparent majority- high chances on short term
2.PNL-UDMR with transparent support from PSD-high chances
3. PNL-UDNR-PSD Government led by current PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu-low chancesa
4.PSD-PD- weak chances
5. Government without PSD-weak chances.
